The first 360 Blockchain-based housing rental system

Since September 2021, we have partnered with INESC-ID, under the guidance of Professor Miguel Pupo Correia. From the academic year 2022/2023 onwards, we have been collaborating with three students from the Master’s in Computer Science and Engineering program at Instituto Superior Técnico.

Together, we have been engaged in the research and development of the following Master’s Thesis topics, which are scheduled to be submitted by October 2023:

1️⃣ Blockchain-based Residential Smart Rent (Andre Proença)
2️⃣ Blockchain-based Commercial Smart Rent (João Domingos)
3️⃣ Blockchain-based Smart Audit (João Santos)

These projects have the objective of exploring the potential of blockchain technology in the areas of residential and commercial rentals, as well as auditing processes. The practical outcome of these projects will be a Proof of Concept.

Blockchain technology helps to solve the intermediation problems and in the verification and traceability of multistep transactions needing verification and traceability. It can provide secure transactions, reduce compliance costs, and speed up data transfer processing. Companies and governments alike are now investing heavily in DLT technology to offer better services and products to people
